Today, there are many designers who take-up on the lost culture and style of ancient India. One of them is Ms. Sophiya Khan. She completed her PG studies at New Delhi’s National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), one of the leading fashion institute in India. Throughout her career she has worked for systemization of Lucknow Chikankari Industry. She promoted the use of Khadi fabric in fashion industry and provided employment to 50+ families. He goal is to promote traditional Indian textile making styles at both national and international level.
